He was predeceased by: his parents, Bland Ward and Mayme Williams Ward; and his siblings, Virginia Devore, Dottie Barker, Norma Rogers, Geneva Knapp, Verbal and Lester Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ward; his children, Aaron Ward (Sandi) of Lebanon, Missouri and Marsha Doss (John) of Lebanon, Missouri; his stepdaughters, Pamela Humphrey of Lebanon and Marilyn Young of Lamar, Missouri; and his sister Mary Rogers of Buffalo, Missouri. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren.
