With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Heflin of Pickering, Missouri, born in Ottawa, Kansas, who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Leonard and Edith May McAuley (Elder); her sisters, Carolyn Randall and Kathy Brown; and her sister-in-law Stella McAuley (Myron Mikelson).

She is survived by: her son Shawn Mikelson (Laura); her grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden, Heath and Harper; and her siblings, Buster McAuley, Darrell McAuley, Donna Humphrey and Linda Leatherberry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials to the Charles Stanley Ministries.
