With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Lee Plowman of Piedmont, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on July 13, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Henry and Ruth Alegra Plowman (Neal); his wife Lillie Plowman (Brown); his son David Merrill Plowman; his great grandchild Adriann Doty; and his siblings, Fred Plowman, Joan Denney, Dorothy Bell and Ruth Marie Spilman.
He is survived by: his close friend Janet of Piedmont, MO; his daughters, Julie Stull (Dennis) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Alica Hincemon of Norfolk, VA; his grandchildren, Lauren Wullner (Bobby), Ryan Stull (Carolynn), Abigail Kuntz (Cody) and Seth Williams; his great grandchildren, Elijah Doty, Maya Stull, Colby Hanson, Dean Stull and Quint Kuntz; and his siblings, Lynn Plowman (Barbara) of Olathe, KS and Patty Hill (David) of Mt. Pleasant, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mill Spring Christian Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Leando Cemetery (14750 Rte V64, Douds, IA 52551).
