She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Hughes and Dorothy Hughes; and her brother Eugene Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Donald Strickland; her children, Sheila Alsup (Scott), Matthew Strickland (Angela) and Adam Strickland (Valerie); her grandchildren, Ethan, Madison, Layla and Grant; and her brothers, Ronald Hughes and Norman Hughes. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
The family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society.
