She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hixson and Verbie Hixson (Stephens); her husband Bob; her son Jody Carter; her sister Lois Boston; and her brothers-in-law, Carr Ward and Tom Boston.
She is survived by: her son Rob Carter (Cindy) of Wentzville; her grandchildren, Angie Carter of St. Charles, Brittany Carter (Langston Miller) and Cameron Kosuta (Megan Jones); her great grandchild Carter Miller; her sister Miriam Ward; and her sister-in-law Kay Carter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
