She was predeceased by: her parents, James Faulkner and Dora Alice Faulkner (Buck); her son Gary Hicks; and her siblings, Henry Faulkner, Clarence Faulkner, Albert Faulkner, George Faulkner, Nellie Poynor, Cora "Alice" Aldrich and Hassie Faulkner.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Hicks of Piedmont and Jimmy Hicks (Barb Skaggs) of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Kenny Hicks, Terra Hicks, Josh Hicks, Gary Hicks, Clara Hicks, Michael Hicks, Jeremiah Hicks, Jamie Hicks and Ryan Hicks; and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Hicks. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
