He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Marion, Sr. and Della Marion (Larmore); his siblings, Claude, Ernest, Roy, Avery, Rosen, Ruby Marion, Kate Cummings and Esther Davis; and his great grandchild Landon Marion.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Royster of Pierce City, MO; and his children, Russell Marion (Paula) of Pierce City, MO, Chris Marion (Kristi) of Pierce City, MO, Janice Patterson (Doug) of Granby, MO and Leanna Griffin (Stephen) of Willard, MO. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Van Buren (Black Fox) Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
