He was predeceased by: his son Joe Elbert; and his grandson Colin Elbert. He is survived by: his children, David Elbert (Sarah) of Pierce City, Matthew Elbert (Jill) of Oronogo and Jennifer Ocheltree (Gideon) of Pierce City; and his sister Rosemary Boes of Neosho. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Agnes Parish Council of Catholic Women (PCCW) in care of the funeral home.
