It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Schnake Jr. in Pierce City, Missouri, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Schnake (Witthaus) and Lloyd Schnake; his son-in-law Floyd Clevenger; and his siblings, Earl Schnake, Faye Swearingen, Jean Evans, Linda Fry and Kaye Long.
He is survived by: his wife Marjie; his children, John W. Schnake of Wentworth, MO, Polly Ann Long (Chuck) of Cassville, MO and Penny Acheson (Butch) of Pierce City, MO; his grandchildren, Kortney Helsper (Adam), Dusty Clevenger, Alexx Acheson (Megan) and Trystann Atchley (Parker); his great grandchildren, Haylie, Trista, Rodi and Scout; his great great grandchildren, Oaklee, Stetson, Braxton and Mattix; and his sisters, Dorothy Doenning and Erma Langley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lakin Funeral Home (501 N Elm St, Pierce City, MO 65723). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
