It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Ferguson of Pierce City, Missouri, born in Monett, Missouri, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Ferguson and Billie Marie Ferguson (Davis); and his son James Swadley. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Sutherland; his children, Russ Swadley of Aurora, Missouri, Matt Swadley (Sarah) of Aurora, Missouri and Sally Kieffer (Brandon) of Pierce City, Missouri; and his brother Michael Ferguson (Linda) of Pierce City, Missouri. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Barry-Lawrence County Development Center in Monett, Missouri, in care of the funeral home.
