With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Richard Swift of Pierce City, Missouri, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Richard Swift to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Swift and Marie Swift (Verfurth); and his brothers, Ted, Stephen and John.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Nagle of Pierce City; his children, Katrina Trout of Springfield, MO, Melissa Mowrey (Bob) of Billings, MO, Tom Swift (Shelly) of Springfield, MO, Greg Swift of Eureka Springs, AR and Jeff Swift (Lydia) of Joplin, MO.; and his sisters, Mary Janice Fabro (Larry) of Billings, MO, Barbara Dees of Olive Branch, MS and Regina Howell (Kenny) of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
A rosary will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (200 Front St, Pierce City, MO 65723). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's honor to St. Mary's Church, St. Mary's School, or the charity of your choice.
