He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert E. Wood and Yvonne Wood (Shore) of Pierce City, MO; his sister Pam Boman (Joe) of Pierce City, MO; his son Dustin Wood; his aunt Freeda Winton of Pierce City, MO; his uncle Larry Roller of Monett, MO; his grandparents, John, Jessie Shore, Jeff and Lorene Wood; his aunts and uncles, Bernice, Bill Heeter, Gary Winton, Lee Roy Wood and Sue Roller; and his pet Shiloh. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lakin Funeral Home (501 N Elm St, Pierce City, MO 65723). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Mt. Vernon Veteran's Home in care of the funeral home.
