Steven L. Hoff Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven L. Hoff of Pilot Grove, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Louis and Helen Marie Hoff (Sloan); and his siblings, Michael Hoff, Patricia Hoff Shay and John Hoff.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Samson; his children, Christina Hoff-Vollrath (Bryan) of Pilot Grove, Angela Rentel (Robbi) of Pilot Grove, Brian Hoff (Justina) of Pilot Grove and Gregg Hoff (Cara) of Pilot Grove; his grandchildren, Lauren Fosse (Nick), Brady Rentel, Natalie Rentel, Ava Hoff, Halea Hoff, Britta Hoff, Cooper Hoff and Penny Hoff; his great grandchildren, Maverick, Josie, Ella Fosse, Brody Hoff and Bryson Vollrath; and his siblings, Ed Hoff (Connie) of St. Louis, Tom Hoff of Marshall, Barbara Hoff Churchill (Robert) and Mary Hoff Lammers of Columbia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church- Pilot Grove (407 Harris St, Pilot Grove, MO 65276). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:15 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (407 Harris St, Pilot Grove, MO 65276).
