He was predeceased by: his parents, James Butterworth and Gladys Butterworth (Shetler). He is survived by: his children, Paul Edward Butterworth, Jr. (Angel) of Brownengton, Missouri, David Alan Butterworth of Aurora, Missouri, Charles Thomas Butterworth of Osceola and Deena McLallen (Monty) of Pineville; his sister Helen Kimball of Pennsylvania; and also Jim Butterworth of El Paso. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
