She was predeceased by : her parents, Dale Reynolds and Ruth Reynolds; and her sister Janice Thompson. She is survived by : her husband Sylvester Cruz; her brother William Scoles of Nebraska City, NE; her children, Tammy Ellison (Bob) of Pittsburg, MO, Kevin Cruz (Tayler) of St. Joseph, MO, Kent Cruz (Lori) of Rosendale, MO and Chad Cruz of St. Joseph, MO; and her grandchildren, Zack, Alex, Colby, Mitch, Kevin, Kelli, Xavier, Wyatt and Alli. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Simplify Cremations & Funerals (2335 St Joseph Ave, St Joseph, MO 64505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
