“I knew Alvin Hoy for 66 years! His recent passing left a huge void in my life and in the lives of his numerous friends and classmates! He was a "one-off" kind of person always staying in touch with everybody (favorite saying was "hey, what's going on"?)! We talked every 3-4 weeks and now the silence is deafening! Alvin distinguished himself as the Park Hill High School Guidance Counselor, as an Army Vietnam Vet and as a Navy employee! May he rest in peace! Jon Stoeger, CDR, USN-ret.”
