It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris E. Owens of Platte City, Missouri, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chris E. Owens to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Alex, Leona Owens, Elbert, Abigail Ingram and Heine (Beverly Coburn); his uncle John Ingram; his aunt Beverly Diggs; and his cousins, Shane Diggs and Cory Ingram.

He is survived by : his parents, Kenneth Owens and Linda Owens; his daughters, Kristina (Vince) and Ashley (Austin); his granddaughters, Josie, Eloise, Maxie and Macie; his siblings, Kevin (Joni) and Kena Gail (Kirby); his nieces and nephews, Trevor (Haliey), Parker (Kassidy), Kyler, Kristi (Justin), Alexandria (Bryan), Chasyn (Brett) and Taylor (Joe); his great-niece Abigail; his great-nephew Colter; his aunts, Gloria, Karen and Debbie; and his uncle Butch. He is also survived by extended family members and numerous friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Fellowship (27765 Highway 159, Forest City, MO 64451). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be directed to River of Hope Fellowship Church.
