We bid farewell to Deanna Dauphene Morrison (Platte City, Missouri), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Deanna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Francis and Wanda Dean Pearl Cocke (Worsley); and her husband Edwin Gordon Morrison Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Stephen DeLay (Roxanne), Jeffrey DeLay (Yvonne), Kenneth DeLay (Joyce), Janet Hanson (John) and Catherine Jeffers (Sam); and her siblings, John Cocke and Janet Smith. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Platte City United Methodist Church (14040 North Hwy, Platte City, MO 64079). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church of Platte City (14040 North Hwy, Platte City, MO 64079).
