She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Winfield Hancock and Dora Bee Bullock Hancock (George); and her grandmother Sunshine. She is survived by: her daughter Sara Lynn McDonnell of Spring Hill, Kansas; her grandsons, Grant Eric and Walker David; her son Eric McDonnell (Sabrina) of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Madison (Dustin Renfro) of Grapevine, Texas, Grant McDonnell of Columbia and Walker McDonnell of Excelsior Springs.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1106 Branch St, Platte City, MO 64079). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Once her beloved children were grown, Dora B continued to manage her real estate rental interests and broadened her volunteer contributions to the First Christian Church, Mizzou Athletics, and the Platte County Historical Society.
