He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gove and Elizabeth Morley Shaw; and his wife Annie Carolyn Johnson Shaw. He is survived by: his brothers, Michael J. C. Shaw of New Haven, MO and John Richard Shaw of Boston, MA; and his cousins, Sarah Gardner of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Nell Stamatis of Springfield, MO, Samual Parrot of Oklahoma, Melonie Cannon and Melinda.

Memorial contributions can be given to the Air Force Courage Foundation.
