We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2025, at the age of 79, Janet Sue Newman of Platte City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Fletchall and Hazel Fletchall (Devers); her sister Colleen Duley (John); and her niece Shelly Lawson of Stanberry. She is survived by: her husband Larry J. Newman; her children, Tia Bigus (Mike) of Platte City, Tessa Rhodus (Aaron) of Parkville and Thad Newman (Zenith) of Platte City; her grandchildren, Mannon Guffey (Colby) of Platte City, Meritt Bigus of Platte City, Miller Bigus of Platte City, Aadyn, Talon Rhodus of Parkville and Forrest Newman of Platte City; and her brother-in-law Jim Newman of Warrensburg.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1106 Branch St, Platte City, MO 64079).
