We bid farewell to Larry G. Duke of Platte City, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 15, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Duke and Maxine Brewer (Boggess); his stepparents, Robert Brewer and Betty Duke; and his stepbrother Richard Brewer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Angela Duke (Douglas), Paul Simms (Crystal) and Alison Horn (Kelly); his grandchildren, Arron Duke (Jansen), Alissa Polsky (Joel), Sydney Couldry (Cru), Madelyn Oppenlander (Josh), Clementine Horn, Trey Simms, Collin Simms, Charles Horn and Linus Horn; and his brother David Duke (Sue). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Platte City United Methodist Church (14040 North Hwy, Platte City, MO 64079). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
