Larry Schroeder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Schroeder of Platte City, Missouri, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis John and Loretta Josephine Schroeder (Koehler); and his brother-in-law Ed Ryser. He is survived by: his wife Kay Schroeder; his daughters, Tiffany Lanman (Doug), Terri Stronach (Cary) and Debbie Burkin (John); his grandchildren, Rob, Jennifer, Natalie, Taylor, Payton, Brandon, Jacob and Tanner; his sister Connie Ryser; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Turner (Sue) and Charlie (Chris). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Platte City (708 S 3 St, Platte City, MO 64079). The military honors was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to The First Baptist Church of Platte City or the Parkville Women's Clinic.
