He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cowan and Ruth Cowan (Switzer); and his siblings, Michael G. Cowan and Janet R. Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (McDaniel); his children, Jennifer Hill (Bill) of Hatfield, MO, Brian Cowan (Kelly) of Kansas City, MO and Steven Cowan of California; his pet Dexter; and his grandchildren, Chase, Kadyn, Braydon, Aaliyah, Haley, Carley, Keaton and McKenna.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Christ Chapel (15275 State Rte 92, Platte City, MO 64079).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Chapel or NorthCare Hospice House in Mark Cowan's memory.
