It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert King of Platte City, Missouri, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Shirley Badart and Robert D. King; his stepgrandfather Ray Kerns, Sr.; and his uncles, Charles, Danny Shanks and Jimmy Schulze.

He is survived by : his parents, Steven King and Teresa King (Shanks); his brothers, Sheldon King (Nicole) and Dustin Norris (Brandi); his significant other Elizabeth Sease; his significant other's children, Mason, Marlie and Austin; his aunts and uncles, Brenda Reed (Gary), Karla Schulze, Bobbi Jordan, Robert King, Doug King (Sandra) and Mark Hicks (Lisa); his grandmothers, Lorene Kerns and Wilma Shanks; his niece Halle Norris; and his close friend Linda Daniels. He is also survived by other numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank or The United Way.
