He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Ehmke and Viola Ehmke (Schwartz). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ehmke; his daughters, Erin Prideaux (Sean) and Amy Wells (Jon); his grandchildren, Noelle Zule (Matthew), Michael Prideaux (Kasey), Riley Wells, Jack Wells and Devin Wells; his great grandchildren, Sophia Prideaux and Amelia Prideaux; and his siblings, Merlin Ehmke (Lori), LaVerne Ehmke and Julie Mullen (Stephen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
Donations to honor Steve may be made to Northland Shepherds Center Plate of Hope Food Pantry, where he was an enthusiastic volunteer and advocate for its patrons.
