With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gilbert Raymond Sander of Plattsburg, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2026 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gilbert Raymond Sander to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ermel Raymond and Violet Marie Sander (Evans); and his sister Beverly Corn. He is survived by: his wife Carol Fankhauser; his children, Kevin Sander (Shanda) of Independence, MO and Kim Buczek (Kris) of Cosby, MO; his grandchildren, Dallas Sander, Kelsay Wyatt (Blake), Konnor Buczek and Karoline Buczek; and his great grandchild Wesley Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service (614 W Clay Ave, Plattsburg, MO 64477). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
