It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Darline (Myers) Raye of Plattsburg, Missouri, who passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lafayette Myers and Georgia Myers (Osborne); her husband Chuck; her son Steven Raye; and her siblings, Art Myers, Robert Myers, Leo Myers, Lewis Myers, Dale Myers, John Myers, Helen Dodge (Myers) and Thelma Deahl (Myers).
She is survived by: her sister Lois Chism; and her children, Kimberly Raye Miller (Steve) of Siler City, Holly Raye Dean (Steve) of Alamogordo, Roxana Raye Kessler (Eric) of Lawson, Missouri, David Raye (Kayla) of Baroda and Barney Raye (Angela) of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home (208 S Jefferson St, Kearney, MO 64060). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
