He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Burnside and Kathilene Burnside (Bell); his wife Shirley A. Burnside; his sister Kathryn May; his daughter Robin Suzanne Nave; and his grandson Darius Burnside.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Burnside (Debra) of Plattsburg, Rickey Burnside (Diane) of Plattsburg, Roxanne Burnside of Plattsburg, Roddie Burnside (Vail) of Plattsburg and Rae Burnside of Kansas City, MO.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
