She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard A. Roush and Flossie Roush (Middleton); her grandson James Matthes; her great grandchild Travis Kanies; and her sister Hazel Orlando.
She is survived by: her husband Matthes Bee Farm; her sons, Bill Matthes of Lee's Summit and Allen Matthes (Sharon) of Lee's Summit; her grandchildren, Mark Matthes (Kathi) of Pleasant Hill, Julie Lane of Roeland Park and Renae Matthes Mitra (Raj) of Lee's Summit; her great grandchildren, Pamela VanMeter (Nathan) of Pleasant Hill, Alex Matthes (Angela) of Pleasant Hill, Jacob Matthes of Pleasant Hill, Teri Kanies of Lee's Summit, Jesse Matthes of Pleasant Hill, Wyatt Matthes of Pleasant Hill and Rhett Lane of Roeland Park; and her great great grandchildren, Lucas VanMeter, Jaxon VanMeter, Adonis Matthes and Lillian Matthes. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hickory Grove Baptist Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
