He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" and Elma Stockman (Davis); his wife Rosemary Bird; and his sister Linda Stockman. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Mike McKee of Hartsburg, Missouri; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Dena Stockman of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Tyler McKee (Tina) of Leawood, Jaclyn Reeder (Chris) of Columbia, Susan McKee of Hartsburg, Stephanie Stockman of Pleasant Hill and Jamie Coillot (Garrett) of Pleasant Hill; his great grandchildren, Kyle Coillot, Alex Coillot and Johnathan McKee; and his siblings, Bob Stockman (Alona) of Higginsville and Judy Swingle of The Villages, Florida. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Phoenix Hospice or the Pleasant Hill First Christian Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
