He is survived by: his wife Marcella Schmidt (Cella); his children, Janet Hargrave (Jerry) of Liberty, Tammy Beavers (Larry) of Holden, Tom Meads (Amanda) of Holden and Mickey Collins (Devin) of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Jessica, Payton, Paige, Skyler, Riley, Tommy, Tucker, Taylor, Shiann, Gage, Raylan, Dravin and Cole; his great grandchildren, Sam, Aleah, Owen, Harper, Kameron, Jaxon, Abigail, Callie, Piper, Alayna and Remington; his sisters, Lorene Ellifrits of Kansas City and Ruby Ellifrits of Kansas City; his mother-in-law Anna Barker of Pleasant Hill; and his brother-in-law Rod Schmidt (Tammy) of Butler.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Rise Community Services or Children's Mercy Hospital and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
