He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Leonard and Mary Elizabeth Foster (Egelston); his stepson Robert Kirkendall, Jr.; and his siblings, Danny Foster, Dennis Foster and Sharon Foster Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Carol Kirkendall (Peters) of Mission; his children, Charles Foster of Kansas City, Christine McDuffy (Shannon) of Pleasant Hill and Jason Foster (Jensen Scheele) of Ellis, Kansas; and his stepdaughter Jaclyn Troxel (Shaun) of Drexel, Missouri. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Luke's Hospice House and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
