He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry W. Ballard and Charlotte C. Ballard (McDonell); his spouse Venice E. Gerstner (Rogers); his son Skip Ballard; and his grandson Rene Martinez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Bailey (Dennis), Terri Lynn Ballard of Bakersfield and Nancy Miller (Aaron) of Pleasant Hill; his stepchildren, Marsha Gaston-Krummel (Stan) of Spring Hill, Kansas, Mike Perkins (Tammy) of Grain Valley, Rick Perkins (Sondra Garret) of Lee's Summit and Greg Gerstner (Sarah) of Cleveland, Tennessee; his grandsons, Aaron Bailey, Nickolas Ballard, Quentin Keavy, Evan Miller and Brett Miller; and his friend Greg Hayes. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stanley Edenburn Funeral Home (203 N Armstrong St, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
