He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Carnes and Lula Carnes; and his brother Larry Carnes. He is survived by: his children, Crystal (Rob), David (Kristina) and Megan; and his grandchildren, Ashlea (Scott), Colton (Nicki), Austin (Madison), Collin, Noah, Gage, Emrie, Eli, Elainna, Earl and Asa. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Dickey Funeral Home (2401 E Mechanic St, Harrisonville, MO 64701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
