We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2025, at the age of 93, Don A. Sousley of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, born in Linn, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Don may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Don touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Logan O. Sousley and Emma Sousley (Walls); his wife Shirley A. Sousley; his son Donald Eugene "Donnie" Sousley; and his grandson Donnie Jeffery Sousley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Clutter (Tim) of Cleveland and Karen Couts (David) of Whiteside, Missouri; and his stepchildren, Art Skeens (Charlotte) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Jeanne Bell (Jim) of Olathe and Danna Ross (Mike) of North Carolina. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
