She was predeceased by: her parents, George Johnson and Bessie Johnson (How); her husband Billy Dean Briscoe of Lee's Summit; her daughter Sandy Ann Brown; and her siblings, Leon Johnson and Shirley Brenner.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Briscoe (Louise), Dennis Briscoe and Phyllis Hawks (Craig); and her sister Virginia Johnson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
