He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Austin Sivils and Ruth Theo Radcliffe; his siblings, Randy Craig Sivils, Shirley Ellis and Linda Kay Watkins; his son Samual Glenn Sivils; and his grandson David Abraham Sivils.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie May Surls; his grandson Ivan; his daughter Pamela Johnson of Bates City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Drake Sivils of Pleasant Hill, Dawson Sivils of Pleasant Hill, Jessica Huey (David Kihara) of Lee's Summit and Nick Huey of Archie; and his great grandchildren, Keegan Zizza of Lee's Summit, Jazlyn Taylor of Lee's Summit, Kensley Kihara of Lee's Summit, Aiden Kihara of Lee's Summit and Penelope "Penny" Huey.
