He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Edgar and Gracie Ethel Ezell (Sloan); and his siblings, Harley Ezell, John Ezell, Niva Benson, Ruby Vinson, Juanita Ezell, Amanda Ezell, Clara Ingram Carver, Franklin Ezell, JoAnn Ezell and Stephen "Junior" Ezell.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Hallman (Jim) of Urbandale, Iowa, Mary Schrage (Mike) of Warrensburg, Missouri, Melissa Dawson (Doug) of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Steve Ezell (Meribeth) of Lone Jack, Missouri; his grandchildren, Abby Helsel (Casey), Megan Moser (Drake), Amanda Hallman, Emily Fairbanks (Ethan), Sarah Schrage, Andrew Schrage, Ashley Schrage, John Ezell, Sophie Ezell, Maggie Ezell and Will Ezell; and his great grandchild Willow Moser. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stanley Edenburn Funeral Home (203 N Armstrong St, Pleasant Hill, MO 64080). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
