He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwin Lyons, Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Lyons (Jenkins); his sisters, Carolyn Anne Berenato (Lyons) and Dorothy Evon Hurley (Lyons); his nephew Rodney Alan Hurley; and his son-in-law Brian Keith Barnum.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy E. Lyons (Larson); his children, James E. "Jimmy" Lyons, III (Jennifer) of Kingsville, Missouri, Megan Riley (Ryan) of Kingsville and Laura Barnum of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Garrett Lyons, Gannon Lyons, Everlee Lyons, Rowan Riley, Aidan Riley, Ethan Riley and Phoebe McAllister. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
The family suggest contributions to the Strasburg Cemetery.
