He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell W. Pope and Bernice Lambert (Wright); his stepparents, Dorothy Pope and Clarence Lambert; and his brother Gary Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Margrett Pope (Terril); his son James Lowell Pope (Lea Ann) of Harrisonville, Missouri; his sister Imolene Carden (Dick) of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandsons, Brody Pope (Lindsay) of Harrisonville and Nolan Pope (Mackenzie) of Peculiar, Missouri; and his stepgrandchildren, Brittney Burns (Mike) of Pleasant Hill and Sean Corson (Cassie) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
