It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie (Woods) Calton of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, born in Carthage, Texas, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Woods and Alta Woods (Crawford); her husband E. C. Calton; and her siblings, Andrew "Andy" Woods, Drenton "Duck" Woods, Leon "Buddy" Woods and Melba Owen (Woods).
She is survived by: her former husband Rev. Elmer "E. C." Calton; her children, Darin Calton (Kelli) of Independence, Missouri and Noelle Shuler (Scott) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; her grandchildren, Brianna Shuler, Gage Calton, Jay Shuler and Jackson Shuler; her stepgrandchildren, Beau Wofford and Zac Shuler; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Deckard (Jack) of Grovespring, Missouri. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
