With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn K. Morris of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Marilyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Marilyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis M. Orr and Frances L. Orr (Wangler); her husband Bill Morris; her brother Louis W. Orr; and her brother-in-law David L. Anderson.
She is survived by: her partner Jerry McKellips; her siblings, Dale Orr (Jessica) of Independence, Missouri and Peggy Anderson of Overland Park, Kansas; her stepchildren, Kevin Morris (Verna) of Overland Park, Shannon Morris of Blue Springs and Leslie England (Russ) of Blue Springs, Missouri; and her pet Rex. She is also survived by two step-grandchildren; one step great-grandson; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.
