He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Don and Mary Frances Rogers (Finney); and his grandfather Finney. He is survived by: his children, Richard Rogers (Amy), Samantha K. Rogers of Fort Worth, Jacquelynn Rogers Kern of Pleasant Hill, Jessica R. Steward (Shaun) of Kingsville and Sadie E. Rogers of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; his grandchildren, Tyler Cole Springer (Rebecca) of Clinton, Katie Marie Bunch (Andy) of Garden City, Bradley Michael Rogers (Jessa) of Harrisonville, Johnathan Rogers of Olive Branch, Dakota Perkins (Cheyenne) of Garden City, Callie Blaylock (Zach) of Blue Springs and Hayden Blaylock of Holden, Missouri.; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Lucas, Lucy, Maggie, Harlend, Aubrey, Mollie and Creed; his brothers, Marvin G. Rogers of Warrensburg and Gary Lynn Rogers of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Belinda Rogers of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
