He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Olin and Rosetta Marie Mason (Oliphant); and his brother Charles "Chuck" Mason. He is survived by: his wife Terry Lynn Moore of Pleasant Hill; his children, Michael J. Mason, Jr. (Chelsea) of Harrisonville, Roy James Mason (Katie) of Belton and Jacquelin Michelle Mason of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Paige Hill, Hailey Mason, Caleb Mason, Landon Matlock, Alexis Matlock, Carson Matlock and Makayla Gaston; his great grandchild Jaxen Laundy; and his sister Patty Morasch (Charlie) of Leawood, Kansas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Hospital and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
