It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta L. (Taylor) Ponder of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, born in Grandview, Missouri, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hastings and Dorothy Lorraine Taylor (McMillan); and her husband Virgil J. Ponder. She is survived by: her children, James Lee Ponder (Debbie) of Lone Jack, Roy William Ponder (Terresa) of Sumterville, Bruce Allen Ponder (Jamie) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Ronald Leve Ponder of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Rebecca "Becky" Mullican (Denny) of Kingsville, Missouri; her sister Frankie Taylor of Baraboo, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Homer Boston of Kansas City, Cody Ponder (Meagen) of Navarre, Alex Wood (Alyssa) of Lynn Haven, Hannah Ponder of Pleasant Hill, Kendal of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Lukas Ponder of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, David, Joseph, Grace Boston of Oak Grove, Zoey, Skylar Ponder of Navarre and Emory Wood of Lynn Haven, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
