It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth L. Helton of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis W. French and Lula M. French (Holder). She is survived by: her husband Gary Helton of Pleasant Hill; her sons, Richard D. "Rick" Miller, Jr. (Cindy) and Ronald B. "Ron" (Kenda Klemme-Benn) of LaCygne, Kansas; her grandchildren, Richard D. "Ricky" Miller, III (Megan) of Pleasant Hill and Rachel L. Miller of Pleasant Hill; her great grandchildren, Owen Miller, Olivia Miller and Parker Miller; and her brother Russ French (Rosie) of Lawrence, Kansas. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Ruth supported the Alzheimer's Association, Pleasant Hill V.F.W. Post #3118 Auxiliary, Wounded Warriors Project and Arbor Day Foundation. In lieu of flowers her wishes would be to continue to support these organizations. These donations may also be sent in care of the funeral home.
