With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley J. Paul of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, born in Nevada, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2026 at the age of 92. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Shirley leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Welborn and Pearl Welborn (Fields). She is survived by: her husband Kenneth "Sonny" Paul; her daughters, Denise Paul (G. R. Powell) of Brenham, Diane Paul of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Cris Miller of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and her granddaughter Addison Miller. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
