He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Brenton and Elsie P. Brenton (Taylor); his sister Donna Brenton; and his daughter Kristina "Krissy" Brenton. He is survived by: his wife Maureen A. McNamara of Pleasant Hill; his children, Dustin J. McNamara, William A. Brenton (Suzanne) of Pleasant Hill, Sara G. York (Ben) of Truesdale and Katie L. Brenton (Samantha) of Holden; his grandchildren, Naudia McNamara, Dylan McNamara, Isabelle Brenton, Isaiah Brenton, Aimé York, Reid York and Michael York; and his sisters, JoAnn Robinson of Jacksonville, Billie Rader of Belton, Sherri Carter of Harrisonville and Mary Jane Carroll of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
