We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2022, at the age of 100, Twila Hurst-Phillips (Pleasant Hill, Missouri), born in Centerville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. Spurgeon and Lillie Spurgeon (Nighswonger); her former spouse Garnett W. Hurst; her husband William "Bill" Phillips; her son Ronald Hurst; and her siblings, Ben Spurgeon, Maynard Spurgeon and Winona McCord.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Kimbrell of Brookline. She is also survived by four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; nine step-great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Battlefield United Methodist Church or Cox At Home Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
